Privacy policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what personal data we process when you use grancanaria-excursions.com, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law. In short: you can use the whole site without creating an account or giving us any personal details.
What we process and why
- Visiting the website. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical data for each visit: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and browser and device information. We need it to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept only for a short period and are then deleted by the hosting provider.
- Visitor statistics and page speed. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure how fast pages load. They set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. They record the page address (without the words you type in the search box), the referring page, your browser, operating system, device type and country. Visits are told apart only by a value calculated from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours, so they can't recognise you on later days or on other websites. We use these figures to see which pages are useful and to keep the site fast (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Searching the site. The words you type in the search box are sent to our server to show the results. We don't link them to you, but like any address they can appear in the server logs.
- Your cookie choice. Whether you accepted or rejected cookies is stored in your own browser. See the cookie policy.
- GetYourGuide's partner script, only if you accept it. It sends GetYourGuide the address, title and referring page of each page you view, your browser, operating system, language and screen size, page loading times, a visit ID and a visitor ID, the GetYourGuide links you click, and which booking links and widgets the page contains. GetYourGuide uses this to measure visits from this site and credit us for bookings (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. GetYourGuide is responsible for its own processing, as described in its privacy policy.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your email address and message to reply (legitimate interest, or steps you asked for before a possible agreement). We keep them for as long as needed to deal with your request and delete them afterwards, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Booking through our links
When you follow a link to a booking site or provider, you leave this website. The booking site or provider handles your booking and your data under its own privacy policy. We never receive your payment details. For bookings made through an affiliate link we only receive the information needed to calculate our commission, such as the booking date and value, not your name or contact details.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:
- Vercel Inc. (hosting of the website, visitor statistics and page speed measurement)
- Supabase Inc. (database and image storage for the site's content)
- Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Workspace, our email)
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Those transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data, we don't build profiles of visitors, and we don't make automated decisions about you. We have no user accounts, contact forms or newsletters.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To exercise these rights, write to the email address shown above.
If you think we haven't handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning activities. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 14.
Changes to this policy
If the way we handle data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
