Cookie policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Cookies are small files that websites store in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. This page lists everything this site stores and how you can change your choice.

Necessary (always on)

  • gce-cookie-consent (local storage, this site, 12 months): remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so we don't ask again on every page.

The public pages set no other cookies of our own. Your language is part of the page address, so no language cookie is needed. The private admin area, used only by the site owner, uses sign-in cookies; visitors never receive them.

Our visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) use no cookies and store nothing in your browser, so they don't need your consent. The privacy policy describes what they record.

Analytics and affiliate tracking (only with your consent)

GetYourGuide's partner script, loaded from widget.getyourguide.com, measures visits from this site and credits us for bookings. It stores:

  • session_id (cookie, this site, until you close your browser): identifies your visit.
  • gyg_visitor_id (session storage, this site, until you close the tab): a visitor ID the script gets from getyourguide.com, which can recognise your browser by cookies GetYourGuide set when you visited its own site.
  • partner_id (local storage, this site, until you clear it): our GetYourGuide partner ID. It contains nothing about you.

The script only loads after you click "Accept". If you reject it, nothing is loaded and the site works exactly the same: booking links still work and prices don't change. If you withdraw consent later, we delete these items and reload the page. GetYourGuide's own processing is described in its privacy policy.

You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page or the button below. Your choice is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Rejecting cookies never stops you from using the site or booking an activity.

When you follow a link to a booking site or activity provider, that site's own cookie policy applies. More about how we handle data is in the privacy policy.
