Buggy tour through the Ayagaures canyons
A two-hour guided buggy drive into the south of Gran Canaria, on tarmac and dirt tracks, with viewpoints over the Ayagaures Valley, its reservoir and the mountains around it.

About this activity
You take the wheel of a buggy and follow a guide out of the resort area towards Ayagaures, in the south of the island. The route mixes ordinary roads with unpaved tracks, so you get a bit of dust and bumping about rather than a steady cruise.
The first stop is the Pedro Gonzales viewpoint, where the Ayagaures Valley opens up below with its reservoir and the mountains behind. From there the drive continues along unpaved roads into more canyons, past small villages and reservoirs, with the Fataga valley in view.
Only one driving licence is needed per buggy, so if your co-driver also brings theirs you can swap over during the two hours. A guide leads the group and speaks Spanish, English, German and French.
